As pageant girls, we believe what’s on the inside matters most but one can’t deny our love for fashion-especially sparkles! At Nationals we want to showcase our beautiful contestants’ personalities through their wardrobe, so here are some guidelines to help you pack and prepare for the incredible week!
REHEARSALS
We are so excited to announce our themed rehearsals for Nationals 2014! We want our contestants to have fun with these and show 
their personalities!
Wednesday: SHOW YOUR STATE PRIDE
This is the perfect day to wear your “Keep Calm and Believe in _____” Shirt! However, you can choose anything that represents your state. This can be as simple as showing your favorite sports team or as crazy as becoming the state flower! Whatever you want! We are excited to have girls all over the country, so show us your state!
Thursday: DISNEY
Now this I personally am excited for! I love Disney and Nationals just might be the SECOND happiest place on Earth! Come dressed as your favorite character, or all decked out in mouse ears!
Friday: PJ’s
Early mornings are not everyone’s favorite, but we want to make it fun so come in your favorite pj’s! Let yourself be comfy and give the feet a break! Don’t come in some cute dress with your hair all done, or be warned a pillow may just be tossed! 
Saturday: AUS GEAR
Get ready to show your love of our amazing pageant system! Whether you buy something special at the novelty table, or you already have something at home, show us your AUSome pride!
Sunday: Crazy Socks and Hat
Let off steam and get crazy with this rehearsal! Be as outgoing as you want and have fun with it! If you want you can even create a theme for them.
OTHER EVENTS
Dress From Perfection Boutique
Registration-A cute cocktail dress (pictures will be taken)
Aquarium- Aqua shirt given at check in
Orientation- If your orientation is BEFORE the aquarium (Jr. Tween, Tween, Teen, and Ambassadors) wear the aqua shirt you received from us. If your orientation is AFTER the visit (Jr. Miss, Miss, Ms./Mrs. and Ambassadors) wear a cute outfit; think business casual
Get to Know Me Party-This is another great time to wear your “Keep Calm and Believe in ___” shirt, or just a cute sundress
Contestant/Ambassador Party-Sun Sand and Sparkle T-shirt given at registration
Red Carpet Event-A cute cocktail is perfect, or a high low. Keep in mind it is a long night so wear comfy shoes! And don’t forget your “Show us your shoes” to strut later! 
*Please always keep in mind you are representing America’s U.S. Miss- even when walking around the hotel. Keep it classy and appropriate and they will see you as the role model you are!
