We have been receiving many questions on optionals, such as:
‘Can I still register for Optionals?’ YES
‘Can I pay for optional entries at registration?’ YES
‘Do you combine age groups?’…ABSOLUTELY NOT! If only one enters we still crown in that division for that optional!
Below is a full break down in EACH age division for EACH of the individual optionals to help with your decision making and preparations for Nationals. We have ordered a full top 5 of trophies and awards for EACH optional in EACH age division and are hoping to send ALL awards home with our national finalists and not back to the national office ![;)]()
The Optionals are judged by an Optional panel of judges, not the ones who will be judging for the queens title. That means if you want to ‘test’ out your personality wear outfit on stage prior to overall competition, you should enter Runway or Sportswear optionals! Optional awards will be presented and Optional winners crowned will take place during the Red Carpet Make A Wish Gala Friday evening.

MINI OPTIONALS WILL RECEIVE TROPHIES FOR EACH AGE GROUP AWARDED DURING FINAL PAGEANT. EVERYONE IS JUDGED (BEST INTERVIEW, BEST PERSONALITY WEAR, MOST BEAUTIFUL, BEST HAIR, BEST SMILE), ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE PAID WITH THE HIGHEST SCORE WILL BE AWARDED TROPHIES ON STAGE DURING FINALS: 5 TROPHIES PER AGE GROUP AWARDED.
4 or more photo entries qualifies for the Supermodel title… this could be 2 photogenic, crown cover, and top model (portfolio book of pictures), or 1 top model, 2 crown cover and 1 photogenic! Or 4 photogenic entries! We use the highest 4 photo scores to determine winner of Supermodel in EACH age group!
Last day to pay online for optionals is: JULY 10TH.
Only CASH payments are accepted for optional, ticket, photo, video at HOTEL REGISTRATION CHECK IN DURING NATIONAL WEEK.
